- Windows Media files (.wmv,.wma) aren't supported on PowerPoint 2016 for Mac or PowerPoint for Microsoft 365 for Mac. There are a number of 3rd party tools for Mac that can convert your.wmv or.wma file to one of the supported formats listed above.
- To optimize audio clips, click on the File menu and go to the Info page, then select Optimize Compatibility in the Optimize Media Compatibility group. If this option can’t be found, the audio has either already been optimized or can’t be optimized for whatever reason. Your clips can also be compressed to reduce your deck’s file size.
Broad support for high dynamic range (HDR) video, such as HDR movies and TV shows from Apple or other providers, requires the latest version of macOS and a compatible Mac model. If your Mac, display, video cable, or video cable adapter doesn't support HDR10, video plays in standard dynamic range (SDR).

External displays. Use the Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports on your Mac to connect to external HDR10-compatible displays:
- DisplayPort displays: Use a cable that has a USB-C connector for your Mac and the appropriate connector for the port on your display, which is usually a DisplayPort, USB-C, or Thunderbolt 3 port.
- HDMI displays: Use an HDMI cable and a USB-C adapter such as the Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter or Belkin USB-C to HDMI Adapter.
- Apple Pro Display XDR supports several HDR formats, including HDR10, when used with a Mac compatible with this display.
When an external display tells your Mac that it supports HDR10, your Mac might automatically enable HDR for that display. You can also enable or disable HDR for external displays in Displays preferences.
Getting the best HDR picture
If HDR video doesn't play in HDR or with the quality you expect, try these solutions.
Check your Mac
- Install the latest Apple software updates for macOS Catalina or later. Some HDR features are available only with the latest macOS.
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then make sure that High Dynamic Range is selected. It appears only on third-party displays that support HDR10, not on built-in displays. If you don't want to use HDR, deselect this checkbox.
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Energy Saver. If ”Optimize video streaming while on battery power” is selected in the Battery tab, your Mac saves energy by playing HDR video in SDR while on battery power. To play in HDR, connect your Mac to power or deselect this checkbox.
Check your external display
Excel Optimize For Compatibility
- Make sure that your display supports HDR10. If the display has its own HDR setting, turn it on or set it to prefer HDR when available.
- Make sure that your display is using the latest firmware from the manufacturer. Check your display's documentation for details.
- Some televisions support HDR only on a specific input, such as HDMI input 2 or HDMI input 3. Check its documentation for details.
Check your media
If you're playing premium content from a third-party content provider, check with the content provider to be sure that they support HDR on your Mac.
Check your cables and other devices
- If you're using HDMI, make sure that the HDMI cable and adapter support HDR10. Apple recommends HDMI cables that have been tested with Apple TV 4K and a wide range of televisions, such as the Belkin UltraHD HDMI Cable. Compatible adapters include the Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter and Belkin USB-C to HDMI Adapter.
- If your video connection passes through an AV receiver, sound bar, or other device before connecting to your display, make sure that the device supports HDR10 and is using the latest firmware from the manufacturer. You can test by connecting your Mac directly to the display.
Check your viewing environment
The brightness and color of HDR video may vary depending on your Mac model and the lighting in your environment. Lower lighting conditions, such as in a dim room, enhance the visual effect of HDR.

If you're interfacing with TFS 2013 or TFS 2015, you must have Office PowerPoint 2007 or later version installed.
- If you haven't installed a version of Visual Studio (2013 or later) or the Team Foundation Server Standalone Office Integration (free), you'll need to install one of these versions to create and modify storyboards.NoteThe only way to get the Team Foundation plug-in is by installing one of the latest editions of Visual Studio or the TFS Standalone Office Integration installer. TFS Office Integration 2015 supports connection to Azure Boards and TFS from Excel, Project, and the PowerPoint-based storyboarding tool.
- Open PowerPoint Storyboarding and start with a blank slide. You should see the Storyboarding ribbon and Storyboard Shapes library. If you don't see the Storyboarding ribbon, see step 2.Or, you can open PowerPoint Storyboarding from the work item Storyboarding tab.Or, from the web portal and the new work item form, choose the Start storyboarding menu option from any valid work item.NoteBecuase this feature has been deprecated, the Start storyboarding menu option is no longer available from the web form for Azure DevOps Services or Azure DevOps Server 2019 and later versions.
- Add a background shape that's appropriate for your app. To add a shape, just drag it onto the slide.
- Search for more shapes to complete your design.
- Create mores slides to show the flow of your app. Share them with your team to get early feedback on the design.

Link your storyboard to a backlog item
When you share your storyboards to a shared network location, you can link the storyboards to a backlog item. That way, your team members will be able to open the storyboards from the work items and annotate them with their suggestions.
- Save or upload your storyboard to a shared location that everyone on your team can access. Mp4 to mp5 converter software, free download.
- If you started PowerPoint Storyboarding from a backlog item, then you are already linked to the initial item and you are done.Otherwise, open the Links tab or the Storyboard Links tab.NoteThe Storyboards tab is no longer supported in the new web form. However, you can link to a storyboard from the Links tab using the Storyboard link.
- If you're not already connected to a project, connect now. If you can't connect, get added as a team member.
- Then, link to a work item.
- Select a work item to link to. The next screenshot shows how to do that using a saved query. You can also do a simple search on the title, or just provide the ID.
- Now the storyboard is linked to the work item.
- And, whoever views the work item can also access the storyboard.
With PowerPoint Storyboarding, you can illustrate a new or a modified interface. You can capture existing user interfaces and build a storyboard from a collection of predefined storyboard shapes. Also, you can customize the slide layouts for your web, client, or phone applications. And, by linking the storyboard to the product backlog item or user story, you automatically share it with your team.
